Self-love & Acceptance

Love

I have read somewhere love is life.

We are social animals ๐Ÿ™‚

We can’t live whole life alone.

We need love.

The expression of love may be different.

By talking with someone,

With deep hug,

By just watching someone,

By reminding someone,

But, what if no one is there.

How will you be happy alone.

Do you think that in a whole big life there won’t come any situation when no one will take your side. You will become alone.

Than it’s your overconfidence towards life.

So, if you believe there may be a .00001 % chances of such situation. Than you should be ready for that from now, because there won’t be anyone to motivate you at that time.

You should know the technique of self love for that worse situation.

Now Acceptance,

If you have a childhood friend who reacts in a very bad manner. He talks very badly in front of your new friends.

Will you break friendship with him?

No!

Why??

Because you have accepted him long back as he is.

Same way, you are the first friend of yourself.

You know all the plus and minus of yourself.

So, as you accept your friends, you must also accept yourself in a same way.

So, learn to self love and accept yourself with proud.

  3. The big question you pose is “how can we be happy alone.” This is such a powerful and meaningful statement. It is so true that we can’t do this alone, we are not meant to be islands to live alone and exist alone. I love your simple yet powerful message that translates from your language and into ours. At the end of the day, neither of us are better than one another, but we are stronger together, stronger in love. When we accept ourselves, we accept each other and those around us.

Hey Divyang, love your post. Self-love seems very simple, but in actuality, it’s a complex topic. I love this statement “you are the first friend of yourself.” YES, we need to learn how to be our own best friend. Once we understand how to pamper, compliment, cherish, & love ourself –loving other people will come second nature. Thank you for writing. God bless
