Haiku

I went today at Ahmedabad International Literature Festival at AMA Ahmedabad.

The day was full of variety of events from discussion of writers, different workshops like letter writing, poetry reciting, poem & haiku writing, different books got published and much more..

There was a padma shri award winner director Mr. Madhur Bhandarkar and R.J. Dhwanit.

I have attended poetry & haiku writing workshop.

There were some exercises in which one of the line of haiku has given and we need to add two more.
Generally, it’s a combination 5-7-5 celebs combination.

It wasn’t necessary over here as it was first time for all.

I have written one that I would like to share with you guys..

The middle line they had given was

moon sleeping silently hidden

I had written was as below.

“as dark cloud comes
moon sleeping silently hidden
to get clouds converted to rain”

They have shared so many like the same and all have tried and participated actively.

It was fun.

There were so many small children who tried on haiku. They were really awesome…

We enjoyed it a lot πŸ™‚
