I don’t know about other countries. But, particularly in India when there is a selection of school or hospital or some other facility, people never prefer to go in government schools/hospital.
If people say or not but mentality is that people prefer to there only if they are financially not afford private one.
They have understanding that government don’t provide proper service and we should go at our risk over there.
But, I think nowadays thats not a true story. Situation of government facility improved drastically.
Today I went to government hospital for the first time to show my mother’s eye.
We entered hospital, there were different windows and rooms for different eye problems and for case creation.
We went to case window and they updated our case in less than a minute.
Than we show a case to a young doctor. I think age of 25-30, who was standing outside to see case and tell us where we need to go.
He checked case and medicines in a minute and sent my mother to eye checkup room.
I sat outside for a while and check that free Wi-Fi is available in government hospital 😀 Bingo!!
I used it for a while and by the time let’s say in 5-10 min. eye checkup is complete.
When I was sat outside two ladies were loosing their mind for waiting long.
So, that Dr. Guy sent them in my one of the cabin.
After that we set to show to Dr in a queue and it wasn’t long today.
We got our turn in 5 min.
We show to Dr. There were 2 senior Dr and 2 trainees.
They checked my mother satisfactorily and gave answers to questions.
Finally there was also a medical store inside. We went there for Medicare for it was not in stock at the time.
So, we leave the hospital in half an hour and with no change and full facility.
There were so many expensive eye checkup machines that you can’t find at any private dispensary and they private Dr will suggest to go over there for that check up.
So, It was past when government hospital were not with good facility, time has changed.
So, you can trust now!!!
Please name the hospital.. we could spread the word to help others

There are many government hospitals in the Philippines that have the same condition. I hope the new government will pay more attention to our health sector. Followed your blog to read more from you.
